Susan is a native of Palos Verdes Estates, California. A graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, she has called Austin home since 1988. She and her husband of 23 years, Charlie Avant, have 2 children, Laura and Colin. Susan is a past board member of the Eanes Education Foundation and donates a portion of her commissions to this foundation. She is a Million Dollar Guild member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
