real estate transactions with outstanding service, uncompromising ethics,
and exceptional knowledge. We select agents for their commitment to service,
integrity, and professionalism. We build lifetime relationships by providing
an unparalleled experience for our clients.
History
In 1986, Eden Box and two associates collaborated to form a unique real
estate company. It was to be Austin's first “boutique” company,
personalizing services to fit the needs of the client. The company would be
comprised of experienced, high producing agents with stellar reputations in
the community. A small company size would preserve the company's mission to
provide a high quality of service with a personal touch. Thus, Eden Box &
Company was formed.
The high caliber of agents involved led Eden Box & Company to quickly become
the boutique, upper tier, cutting-edge company that was intended. The agents
were professional, discreet and widely sought after. The company rarely took
new agents, and only did so after extensive interviews and a vote by the
current agents. Employing marketing experts and using the highest quality
products and tools available, marketing was first-class and innovative. In
1994, Eden Box & Company became the exclusive affiliate in Austin with
Christie's Great Estates. That affiliation continues today.
In 1996, Eden Box retired and the company was renamed AvenueOne Properties.
The company adhered to the same principles upon which it was founded, never
straying far from the original concept of personalized, discreet and
professional service to all clients. Many of the bonds that were formed with
clients early on remain strong today. Those clients come to AvenueOne
Properties to buy and sell houses, as do their children, friends and
associates. While the company has gradually added more agents to keep up
with the ever growing demand, the new agents meet the standards originally
set by Eden Box & Company 25 years ago.
In 2009, AvenueOne Properties merged with Mary Nell Garrison Realtors. The
two companies were Austin's oldest premier residential real estate firms.
Combined, they had over 67 years experience. Mary Nell Garrison Realtors had
a similar pedigree and market approach to AvenueOne Properties, thus the
unification was quick, effective and mutually beneficial.
The company's new President, Homer “Trey” Garrison III, has over 40 years of
real estate experience in the Austin market. Trey is a native Austinite and
a graduate of Austin High and the University of Texas. His philosophy of
hands-on service to his clients has become a way of life for him. He has
worked with many civic and community organizations such as the Rotary Club
of Austin and the Capitol Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is
the former Director of the Better Business Bureau and has served on the
Board of Directors for the Austin Board of REALTORS® and Frost National Bank
of Austin. He is a charter member of the Elite 25.
AvenueOne Properties and its agents continue to stay on the cutting edge of
the Austin market with a downtown location, an innovative marketing
department and community partnerships.
